Definition of Terms
The following terms, words or phrases shall have the following meaning under these Terms unless the contrary expressly indicates or the context indicates otherwise.
“Communication Materials” refers to collaterals and other communication solely intended for the Member sent by the Program Operator such as but not limited to short messaging service or SMS, email, Viber message, flyers, catalog, or Website information containing details of the Program and/or any of its campaigns.
“Covered Service/Product or CSP” refers to any product or service offered by PLDT Home which, when availed of, subscribed to, or purchased by the Member, shall earn corresponding Crystals based on the Mechanics.
“Covered Transaction or CT” refers to any transaction, action or activity (e.g. payment of PLDT Home bill, upgrades, enrollment to auto-charge payments or electronic statement of accounts or eSOA, etc.) which, if performed by the Member, shall earn corresponding Crystals based on the Mechanics.
“Crystals” refers to the corresponding loyalty rewards or points earned by the Member pursuant to the relevant Mechanics after purchasing, subscribing to, or availing of a CSP, or performing a CT. For the avoidance of doubt, Crystals cannot be used for payment of goods and services, except when these are redeemed in the PLDT Home Rewards Marketplace redemption page.
“Member” refers to a Subscriber, who has applied for, or has been invited to, and was successfully admitted to the Program until his/her Membership is terminated in accordance with the Terms.
“PLDT Home Rewards Program Member ID” refers to a unique number created by the Program Operator and issued to a Member following admission to the Program.
“Mechanics” refers to the various guidelines defining the terms and conditions for which a Member may use, enjoy or earn Crystals, redeem items in the PLDT Home Rewards Marketplace or other Program benefits. The Mechanics are available and may be found in the Website, Notifications, or Communication Materials and may be amended from time to time with notice to the Member.
“Notification” refers to PLDT Home Rewards Program related updates intended for the Members such as but not limited to PLDT Home Rewards Program Member ID status, earned Crystals, promotional advertisements, Mechanics, and system advisories sent to the Member via SMS, email, or such other channels.
“PLDT Home Rewards Marketplace” refers to the page within the PLDT Home Rewards Member Portal where Program Members can see the catalog of vouchers that can be redeemed with their earned Crystals.
"PLDT Home Rewards Member Portal” refers to the the website where Subscribers can sign up for a membership or log-in to the Program as Members to check their Crystals balances, transaction history, and the PLDT Home Rewards marketplace for a full catalog of redeemable items.
"Service Account" or “Service Account Number” refers to the Member’s service account/s or service account number/s issued by PLDT Home in relation to the PLDT Home service/s subscribed to, which has been linked to his or her PLDT Home Rewards account for purposes of receiving Crystals.
“Subscriber” refers to a PLDT Home customer or subscriber on record who is eligible to be a Member of the Program. Unless otherwise expressly stated, a Subscriber is not automatically a Member of the Program.
“Third Party Providers” refers to affiliates, subsidiaries, and contractors engaged by the Program Operator to provide services necessary to manage and operate the Program or any of the Program’s features.
“Website” refers to https://rewards.pldthome.com.
