What is Conversational AI (robots)?

These PLDT/SMART conversational robots call the customers who have not made payments after their due date. The robot call serves as payment reminder only in order to keep the accounts of PLDT/SMART postpaid customers in active status.

Following are the Conversational robots name deployed per call campaigns:

  • Cindy a conversational robot dedicated to do outbound calls for PLDT Collections
  • Chloe a conversational robot dedicated to do outbound calls for PLDT Churn
  • Celine a conversational robot dedicated to do outbound calls for SMART Collections
  • Cassey a conversational robot dedicated to do outbound calls for SMART Churn

Why is it I am being called by a Robot to remind me of my PLDT/SMART bill?

We use a Robot to remind our valued customers of their PLDT bill because it enables us to reach more customers in a timely and efficient manner. The automated system allows us to provide a helpful reminder prevent service disconnection due to missed payments.

How often will I receive the AI Bot payment reminders?

AI Bot payment reminder is designed to send out reminders starting from day 35 after the due date. If payment is made, the reminders will stop. However, if we are unable to contact the customer and the outstanding balance remains unpaid, we will continue to call up to two (2) times daily from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday. However, for SMART Collections, no call out for BOT on Sundays.

Can I customize the frequency and timing of the AI Bot reminders?

No, our AI robots cannot call you back. Instead, if you will advise our robot with your preferred schedule (day, date, time) this will be handed over by our PLDT/SMART employees to our live agents for re-call out. From the PLDT/SMART perspective, the call attempts of the robot can be customized up to two times daily.

What happens if I miss a payment?

If you have reached your payment due date, you will be included in the list of accounts that will be called for payment reminder by Bots.

How secure is the AI Bot for handling my data information?

AI Bot has passed both our Data Privacy and Cyber Security requirements to ensure that your data information is well-handled and secured.

How can I stop receiving AI Bot payment reminders?

You will stop receiving AI Bot payment reminders once you pay your bill in full and on time.

How do I know that the reminders are legit and not a scam?

We assure you that our AI Bot payment reminders are legitimate and come from our system. The reminders include your account and outstanding balance details. If you're ever unsure about a call or message, please contact us through our official channels to verify. Your security and privacy are important to us.
